The entry-level thirdeye unit is used for checking print presence on leaflets as they are fed into a folding machine - ensuring blank leaflets do not find their way to the customer.

The unit operates at high speed and has been tested with folding machines which generally run at between 35 and 150m/min.  When set in accordance with our recommended procedures, this provides 100% inspection with total confidence of faulty product being detected.

The thirdeye can be upgraded to include up to two high speed barcode readers, each capable of reading the most commonly used barcodes including data matrix and pharmacode, passing at up to 30m/s.  When a barcode reader is fitted, an additional colour LCD screen is fitted to the top of the thirdeye unit to give the operator a real time image of each code as it is read - greatly simplifying the set up of the code reader.

The thirdeye can also be upgraded to include a double sheet detector which will distinguish between one and more than one sheet.  If two or more sheets are fed at the same time, the thirdeye unit will instantly stop the machine.
